Although the painting and paint on this pot are not perfect, the spirit of this pot is fine. Vernida, the daughter of Harold, was trained by her grandmother Fannie. She is not of the corn clan, since her father (but not her mother) connects her to Nampeyo, her great grandmother. Bill and I visited Vernida in her home, January 2005.

Purchased on 10/26/03. This pot did not receive a bid the two times it was offered on eBay. I wrote the seller (Marcier Wright, Burbank, CA) and she adjusted the price in her eBay store to less than the auction minimum.
