In the center of the bird’s body, the design forms a large “Z.” If superheroes live at Hopi (and they probably do), this must be a portrait of “Z Bird,” who proudly flies to the rescue of those in need. This is a fine, spirited, folk figure. Unknown date of production; the listing suggests “the 1940s,” which is as guess that is as good as any.
