The pot has a very small footprint and it is polished both inside and out. The exterior is exceptionally smooth and finished with lard or wipe-and-glow.

Like 2008-02 by Randall’s nephew, Doyle Chapella, the design is a simplified version of a Nampeyo design that was adopted (in more detail) by Randall’s sister, Jean (see 1992-10) and Dolly Navasie (see 2008-09).

Randall died suddenly and tragically in August 2008 when he was about 58 years old. He was a noted painter and carver and occasional potter.
