This is a simple, understated spoon that is not quite utilitarian but not quite elegant either. Of the five daughters of Rachel Namingha, three became famous potters. Eleanor and her sister Ruth James (2008-07) made little pottery. (For other pottery by Eleanor Lucas, see the Index of Artists.)
