This is a version of the old Sikyatki butterfly design made famous by Deanna’s grandmother and used by her mother, Alma Tahbo (1989-07) and her nephew Mark Tahbo (1995-01, 1997-08) and her niece Dianna Tahbo (1992-06).

Purchase History:
Purchased on 6/17/01 on eBay from Cindy, at Heart of Ohio Antiques, Springfield, OH. The name of the original owner is unknown, but she wrote a note accompanying the pot: “Woman potter. Butterfly her family signature. Hopi Indian. Purchased Sept 29, 1978 on trip with church group….”
